Company

Founded in Berlin, autarc is a ~40 person start-up who were part of Y Combinator's S24 batch in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations.

Role description

This is not a traditional FA role. You will work directly with our COO across two areas: scaling our revenue organisation and helping the company move fast.

Most of your time will be spent across Revenue, building out Sales, Go-to-Market, Customer Success, Operations and Automations. You will help set the foundation for the next stage of the organisation by improving structures, creating leverage and making sure our commercial teams can scale effectively. That includes supporting internationalisation efforts, structuring sales processes, improving internal operations and building a deep understanding of how revenue works end-to-end in a fast-growing company.

The rest of your time is about making our COO more effective. That means joining key customer calls, supporting sales meetings and on-site visits, attending fairs and events, preparing board decks and investor updates, and stepping into high-priority ad-hoc topics whenever needed.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Support the COO in shaping and prioritising the revenue roadmap
  • Drive cross-functional projects across Sales, Go-to-Market, Customer Success, Operations and Automations
  • Help design, improve and scale sales processes and internal operating structures
  • Run customer calls and support stakeholder management across key accounts and partners
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across the revenue organisation
  • Manage revenue KPIs, reporting and operational follow-through
  • Build prototypes, test workflows and support new product or commercial experiments
  • Contribute to international expansion and market development initiatives
  • Represent autarc in customer calls, sales meetings, trainings and on-site visits
  • Prepare board meeting materials, investor updates and strategic presentations
  • Handle daily ad-hoc tasks in a fast-moving environment

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a high-ownership role at a startup, in consulting, in VC, in revenue operations, business operations, or a commercial role
  • Strong commercial intuition: you understand how revenue organisations work and what drives effective sales execution
  • Comfortable working across Sales, Customer Success, Go-to-Market, Operations and tooling
  • Highly organised and reliable
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with KPIs, systems and operational detail
  • Excited by AI tooling, automation and how modern teams can move faster with the right setup
  • Comfortable context-switching between a customer call, a process redesign, a KPI review and a board deck within the same day
  • Direct communicator who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Berlin-based, with 4-5 days in the office (Mitte)
  • Fluent in English and German

  • Freedom to choose your own equipment
  • 26 paid vacation days
  • An annual team retreat

About us

Right now, 25% of CO2 emissions in Europe are caused by heating our buildings. In order for this to be reduced, the transition towards renewable energy needs to be simplified and made more accessible. There are too few installers to meet the growing demand for heat pumps, and a solution to match this trend needs to be brought to the market.
autarc is developing the leading operating system (OS) for heat pump installers, enabling a more digital and efficient installation process for heat pumps.
Through this, autarc is reducing the hurdles to decarbonizing single-family homes and small apartment buildings in Europe, with the goal to help with the planning and designing of 1 million heat pumps by 2030.
